MACKENZIE SCOTT CLOWES

Mackenzie is an artist, actor and theatre maker. Born in Australia, he received his Fine Art degree from The Queensland College of Art. This was completed on scholarship at The Exeter College of Art. He has a Masters in Acting from East 15 Acting School. His CV includes two solo shows and work as technical staff at The Queensland College of Art. He has a dual practice making (often physical) theatre and visual art. As an artist Mackenzie's quirky, sometimes satirical (and often allegorical) work draws as much from the history of landscape painting as it does from carnival and protest and propaganda. His visual practice traverses drawing, painting, text and photography.
